Why We Walk This Path Together
Surrogacy isn’t for everyone~and that’s okay.
For the women who feel called to this journey, it can be one of life’s most meaningful experiences: an opportunity to help create a family while building relationships rooted in trust, compassion, and respect.
At Nest & Nurture, we believe surrogacy is never simply a transaction. It’s a partnership~intended parents, a gestational carrier, medical professionals, and our team working together toward the same extraordinary goal: helping a family grow.
Generally, gestational carriers should:
✓ Be between 21–40 years old
✓ Have experienced at least one healthy pregnancy and delivery
✓ Be currently raising at least one child
✓ Be in good overall physical and emotional health
✓ Be a non-smoker and live in a smoke-free environment
✓ Have reliable transportation and a stable home environment
✓ Have no criminal history
✓ Be willing to complete comprehensive medical, psychological, drug, and infectious disease (STI) screening
✓ Be committed to open communication, reliability, and following medical recommendations throughout the journey
Why These Requirements Matter:
Every surrogacy journey begins with trust.
Intended parents are placing one of the most meaningful parts of their lives in your care, and you deserve the same level of respect and support in return.
Our screening process isn't about finding perfection. It's about creating a safe, healthy, and trusted foundation for everyone involved.
Honest Compensation. Clear Expectations.
We believe every gestational surrogate deserves to feel valued, respected, and fully informed about her compensation.
As you explore surrogacy, you may come across compensation packages advertised at $100,000 or more. It's important to understand the difference between base compensation and total potential compensation, which may include additional allowances, reimbursements, and payments for certain medical circumstances.
At Nest & Nurture, we'll walk you through your compensation and benefits so you understand what's guaranteed, what may be additional, and what to expect throughout your journey.
Base Compensation
First Journey:$65,000–$70,000+
Experienced Gestational Carriers:$85,000–$90,000+
(Based on your experience, medical history, and the individual match.)
Beyond Your Base Compensation
At Nest & Nurture, your compensation is only one part of the care and support you receive throughout your surrogacy journey.
Your benefits include:
Surrogacy-related medical expenses
Independent legal representation, paid for by the intended parents
Health insurance coverage and support
Maternity clothing allowance
Travel and lodging expenses related to your journey
Childcare reimbursement, when applicable
Lost wages, when applicable
Additional pregnancy- and procedure-related allowances as outlined in your agreement
No surprises. No unrealistic promises. Just transparency and support.
We believe you deserve to understand every part of your compensation and benefits before committing to a journey. We'll walk you through your complete package, explain how each benefit works, and make sure you feel informed and confident moving forward.
If This Feels Like Your Path
The women who become gestational carriers don't all share the same story, but they do share one thing in common, they chose to help another family in one of the most meaningful ways possible.
If you're wondering whether this journey could be part of your story, we'd be honored to talk with you.
